When we realise we’re all the same
Help is hope we won’t forsake
Many people drown alone
Living in a state of shame
Only option strikes a nerve
Suicide ending to many lives
Stop putting people on a pedestal
Start treating them like you treat yourself,
If you break your arm you want a cast
But if they stuff up we’re so quick to judge
Artists write the music they love, but don’t forget they suffer like the rest of us. They’re not oblivious to the things we all face, struggle, pain and everything in between
We watch them on silver screens glorify like they never feel a thing, quick to show our total disgust when they reveal how broken they are. We wonder why they can feel this way when they have money and fame, but aren’t we all human beings?
