God never said life would be comfortable or we would ever be without, pain or suffering. We are loved, but sometimes it might feel like you don’t feel a thing.
Out of sight and out of mind, is a life lived in utter avoidance of the stuff you might need to talk about. The longer we stuff down our feelings, the more numb we become to the world around us. We are meant to feel the warmth of self- worth and self- accepstance, but sometimes we force ourselves to not feel those things, because we think we don’t deserve the life we have to live.
God never said…
God never said life would be easy, we make the choice to follow him or not, yet if we do, it doesn’t me were some how impervious, to the things everyone else goes through. After all we are all human beings, we are all the same, theirs no us and them, it’s us because were all eqaul.
God never said fake a smile, always say “I’m ok, yes I’m fine, My weeks been great thanks for asking” we often talk so much about what God said we never mention what he didn’t.
Were not meant to live our life hiding our flaws, and pretending we’ve made no mistakes. Were like broken people who have lived life, and anything that’s been broken is bound to need to healing.
Theirs a reason why God heals us from the inside out, not the outside in. It’s not hard to fake how you feel, to put on a happy face and fake it, till people “believe” you’re ok. When you actually feel completely different, the outside can look Beautiful yet the inside ugly.
God never said your unloavable.
Many moments are spent (let’s be honest) telling yourself all the reasons why, you can’t be loved and wht you’ll always be unlovable. Maybe it’s because you can’t count the mistakes you’ve made, the number’s really high. Maybe you feel like your ugly, or maybe it’s just what you’ve always believed.
But that’s the problem you’re like me, God never said I’m unlovable, it’s just what I told myself.
God never said your worthless (Please read again)
People spend money on jewelry, shoes, cars, mobile phones (“etc”) but it all fails in comparison to what God paid for you and me. His one and only son, it pays to underline and highlight ONLY.
It’s not like Jesus had a sibling, so if he was to “chicken out” atleast God had options. Turns out he didn’t and his one and only son, was beaten and Crucified. But it’s worth repeating, God never said life would be comfortable.
17 When his people pray for help, he listens and rescues them from their troubles. 18 The Lord is there to rescue all who are discouraged and have given up hope. 19 The Lord ‘s people may suffer a lot, but he will always bring them safely through. 20 Not one of their bones will ever be broken.
Psalms 34:17-20 CEV
