Open up again

Remember what it was like to feel alive? The moment you were filled with joy that no one could steel.

If we can remember the moments we felt loved, and truly believed someone did care about us. I think we also remember the moments we felt lost, isolated and unwated.

At the top it’s easy to feel like you could conquer the world, but were is that same confidence when your down in the dumps?

Because most of want to change the world, but in order to change the world we must also change as people. We won’t get a different result by doing the same thing, over and over again. Mistakes occur by repeating the same choice.

I think what we need to do, is open up again. Be honest with yourself and the people in your life, because we only get the help we ask for. If your uncertain about how you feel, it might be a good idea to talk to a friend. If your scared you might harm yourself or others, don’t stay silent about the thoughts you have.

If everyone’s story matters and we all count, why do we justify our insecurities.

Some people might treat you different and that’s an unfortunate circumstance in the area of mental health. But your health is more important than someone’s opinion of you.

Open up again.
Be honest with yourself, start the journey to recovering what you might’ve lost.

Your currency is your story and it’s Amazing, your amazing. Don’t shrink the wounds that need to heal, instead open up again.

Be honest,
Be yourself,
Open up again.

I’ve found the more we open up, the less time the past has the opportunity to remind us, who we use to be.

Much love, Shaun
