It’s a long road from the overwhelming abyss to freedom, but there will come a day when you can look up – and see that the darkness you’ve been surrounded by has been broken by a tiny pinprick of light.
She had expectations of what rescue would look like. Had hopes of what her salvation would entail. When she receives it though – its not what she thought she wanted.
Despite how similar you are to someone else or how much your opinion mimics theirs, there will almost always be a disagreement somewhere down the line, whether that's to do with personality differences or experiences.
It's usually hard to decide what core values you want to have in whatever you're doing, but I think faith has always played a very big part in everything we've done at Hope in Your Story so far. So it only makes sense that we give people the hope that helped us, by simply talking about what's helped us.
